As part of the Go All In – National Year of Reading 2026 campaign, Cornwall Libraries are offering a fantastic range of free resources for young people. From eBooks and comics to coding kits and clubs, there’s something for every interest – and it’s perfect for supporting the Book Reader badge.

Libraries these days aren’t places where you’ll be shh’d! You won’t be fined! Cornwall Libraries are free of charge and give you access to all of this…

Digital borrowing – download the BorrowBox app to read eBooks and listen to eAudiobooks straight through your phone or tablet. We’ve recently expanded our ePress collection of digital magazines and newspapers too – bonus.

Comics Plus – a wide collection of digital comics and graphic novels, easy to read on your phone or tablet.

Press Reader – even more digital magazines and newspapers at your fingertips. Subscribe to your favourite magazines to get the latest issues.

Computer access – you’re welcome to visit one of our 30 libraries and use our public computers. Lots of our libraries also have facilities for scanning, printing and photocopying.

Micro bits – learn to code with our lendable micro bit kits.

Click and collect – access to our collection of over 230,000 books at the click of a button. Reserve from anywhere in Cornwall on our online catalogue and collect at your nearest library.

Clubs – our libraries host clubs up and down the county, from craft and Lego to D&D. Check with your local library for what’s on in your area.

Driving Theory Pro – if you or your siblings are ready to start practising for your driving theory test, Driving Theory Pro let’s you prep for free – with practise questions, mock tests and hazard perception videos.

Music scores – learning an instrument? Check out our range of music scores.

DVDs – Borrow as easily as borrowing a book

Language learning – with Transparent Languages. You can also explore our dual language picture books with LOTE 4 Kids.

Loyalty card – collect stamps for using the library. Fill up your card to be entered into prize draws.
